Who We Are

New Rhythm is a personal health tracking application designed to help you log and monitor your blood glucose and blood pressure readings. We believe that your health data is deeply personal and should remain under your complete control.

What Data the App Collects

New Rhythm collects only the health information you choose to enter:

• Blood glucose readings with their date and time
• Blood pressure readings (systolic, diastolic, and optionally pulse)
• Timestamps for each reading
• Optional notes you add to readings
• Your personal target ranges (if you choose to set them)

The app also stores your preferences, such as your chosen unit format (mg/dL or mmol/L) and theme settings.

Where Your Data Lives

All data stays on your device. New Rhythm does not transmit your health information to any server. There are no user accounts, no cloud synchronization, no third-party analytics services, and no advertising SDKs integrated into the app.

We do not have access to your health data because it never leaves your phone.

iCloud and Google Drive Backups

If you have enabled device backups through iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android), your New Rhythm data may be included as part of your general device backup. This backup is encrypted and controlled entirely by your Apple or Google account - not by New Rhythm.

To exclude New Rhythm data from backups, you can disable app backup in your device's system settings.

Crash Reports and Diagnostics

New Rhythm does not collect crash reports or diagnostic information directly. If you have opted in to share diagnostics with Apple or Google through your device settings, anonymized crash data may be shared with us through their developer programs. This data does not contain your health readings or any personally identifiable information.

Children's Privacy

New Rhythm is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used the app, please note that all data is stored locally on the device and can be removed by deleting the app.

Your Rights

Because all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it at all times:

• Access: View all your data directly within the app.
• Export: Export your readings to share with your healthcare provider.
• Delete: Use the "Delete all data" option in the app's settings, or simply uninstall the app.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.
